Early Career
Born and raised in Jabaquara, a district of São Paulo, Lucas Pires began his football journey with the futsal team of Nacional-SP at the age of six. He later moved to the futsal team of Santos at eight years old and eventually joined Corinthians’ youth setup, where he stayed for 13 years.

On 17 July 2017, he signed his first professional contract with Corinthians. He played for the under-17, under-20, and under-23 teams but couldn’t break into the first team. On 10 July 2021, he ended his contract with the club after failing to agree on new terms.

Santos
