The Champions League is back on Tuesday, and it has a new format. Now, 36 teams will each play against eight different opponents in one big league stage.
The top eight teams will move straight to the last 16. Teams finishing between 9th and 24th will have to play in a knockout round to try and join them, while the rest will be out of the competition.
