Ronaldo’s jersey is already on sale at Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Al Nassr became official on Friday after the Saudi Arabian team put his shirt up for sale and received positive feedback from supporters.

Al Nassr has already signed Cristiano Ronaldo. The Saudi Arabian side made it official on Friday in an effort to have it in place before 2023. He is scheduled to arrive in Riyadh on Monday and could make his new team’s debut on May 5.

In the interim, the Saudi Arabian club has begun selling shirts that feature the number 7, and the reaction from fans has been overwhelmingly positive.

Multiple videos of the first supporters purchasing the Portuguese star’s jersey were published by the Saudi news outlet ‘Aawsat’.

While Al Nassr tried to persuade other players like Sergio Ramos and Sergio Busquets to sign with them, Cristiano agreed to a deal that would last for two and a half seasons, or until June 2025.
