Ahmed bin Ali Stadium is also known as Al Rayyan Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium that is located in Qatar. This stadium is home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club and Al-Kharitiyath Sports Club. The stadium was built in 2003 and is made of good architecture. The seating capacity of this stadium is almost 40,740 and the seats were shaded.

It Stadium was pulled down in the year 2015 to make a new stadium for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and 90 percent of the debris from the stadium is used to make other artworks and the stadium. The work of the New Stadium is for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the name of the Stadium. Construction FIFA World Cup Qatar

Ahmed bin Ali Stadium is one of eight stadiums being transformed for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Construction of the new stadium started in early 2016. This was done by a joint venture between Al-Balagh and Larsen & Toubro. After the World Cup, the stadium will be reduced to 21,000 seats.

The inauguration of the stadium took place on December 18, 2020, Qatar’s national day, and exactly two years before the country hosts the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final.

The Stadium is made with the environment in mind. The stadium was designed in such a way by the Supreme Committee that it will be an environmentally friendly building material. And the design of the stadium has been built keeping in mind that after the FIFA World Cup is over they will be used for another purpose.
