Shrewsbury Town Kit

The club’s colors have always been blue. However, blue has not always been the most dominant color. Early kits included blue and white stripes, quartered shirts and all-blue shirts, which were worn with white or amber trim until 1978. In 1978 Shrewsbury’s most famous kit was introduced: the blue and amber stripes, which they wore when promoting . in successive seasons, until reaching the old second division (now the Football League Championship). This was the design worn by the character Derek Smalls in the movie This Is Spinal Tap.
