Thuwunna Youth Training Center Stadium, known simply as Thuwunna Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the venue chosen for most of the national and international football and athletics competitions.
This 32,000-seat stadium is smaller but more modern than Bogyoke Aung San Stadium. It is part of a complex that also includes the Thuwunna National Indoor Stadium.
The stadium’s eight-lane running track is the first in Myanmar to meet IAAF standards.

Thuwanna Stadium History
Built with the help of the Japanese government, the stadium was completed in 1985.
From June 23 to July 3, 2012, the stadium hosted 2013 AFC Asian Cup U-22 Qualifying Group G matches.
The stadium underwent a major renovation and was expanded to host football matches at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. It also hosted the 2012 AFF Championship qualifying rounds and Group B matches of the main tournament of 2016.
