International career

Abedzadeh was once called up to the camp of the Iranian national under-17 football team for the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Kish Island, but he was never called up again.

Abedzadeh said on his likelihood of playing for the Iranian national under-23 football team: “They once more informed me that they intended to bring in individuals who have a history of playing together and are familiar with one another. They also mentioned that they will call and check out new players if we were to qualify.

Therefore, I’m hoping they can defeat Iraq and earn a spot in the Olympics, giving me the opportunity to compete. I believe the issue is that they weren’t able to watch me play as frequently as the local players because I spent the last four years in England. For me, that has been rather frustrating.”
