Bid for Messi vs Ronaldo match’s special ticket reaches 10 million Riyals

Bidding for a special ticket to a soccer match featuring soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has reached 10 million riyals (more than 607 million in Pakistani currency) and is expected to rise further as the auction is open until January 17.

Within the framework of the Riyadh Season Cup, the match will be played between the XI of the All-Star of Saudi Arabia with players from Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr, Ronaldo’s new club, and Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain from France on January 19.

A Saudi business imam, Mushref Al-Ghamdi, has offered 10 million riyals for the ‘Beyond Imagination’ ticket that would allow him to meet Ronaldo and Messi as well as the chance to attend the winner’s ceremony and enter both changing rooms.

The match will renew the rivalry between the top soccer players as they did not face each other for almost two years.

The event will also be special as Ronaldo will make his Saudi Arabian debut after signing a £175 m-a-year deal with Al-Nassr last month.
