Kylian Mbappé has insisted he has not made a decision about his future after scoring for Paris Saint-Germain against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The French international found the back of the net in the final exchanges, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg of their round of 16 tie in Paris.
Mbappe‘s contract with PSG is set to expire at the end of June, and Real Madrid remains credited with a stake in the striker.
There have been suggestions that he has already agreed to join Los Blancos, but the 23-year-old has insisted that he has yet to make a decision about his future.
“I haven’t decided my future. I play for Paris Saint-Germain, one of the best clubs in the world,” he told Movistar. “Is this game going to influence my future? No, I haven’t decided, I do my best and then we’ll see what happens next season.”
Mbappe has once again been in impressive goalscoring form for PSG during the 2021-22 campaign, finding the back of the net 22 times in 32 appearances in all competitions, as well as contributing 16 assists.
