Peacock Offers High-Definition Streams for World Cup 2022

Peacock TV offers High-Definition Streams for World Cup 2026 fans. It has been announced that all World Cup matches streamed from Peacock servers will be available in 1080p quality. This change will apply to the Spanish broadcast for the USA 2026 event.

Additionally, these matches will have a frame rate of 60 fps (frames per second) instead of the 24 fps used in traditional TV and movie broadcasts. The feature means your matches will be easier to watch.

Ultra-definition 4K streams will be available in limited cases, though Peacock doesn’t say when.

NBC/Telemundo/Peacock also has the Spanish broadcast rights for the 2026 World Cup.

NBC will also show broadcasts in English through Peacock.

The streaming service has announced the launch of its World Cup Hub on November 14. It will include documentaries, classic FIFA world cup matches, interviews, and more. Peacock subscribers can access the center during the entirety of the competition.
