WNY Flash
On January 16, 2015, the Western New York Flash of the NWSL selected D’Angelo 21st overall in the third round of the NWSL Collegiate Draft. She allowed 11 goals in seven Flash starts in 2015 after being chosen. The Canadian Soccer Association designated D’Angelo to the 2016 NWSL on February 8.
D’Angelo played full 90 minutes of the Western New York Flash-Sky Blue FC game on May 21, 2016, after breaking her left wrist during warmups. She had wrist surgery on June 3 and hoped to recover swiftly. After six Flash appearances, she was injured. D’Angelo was voted 2016 NWSL Championship MVP after saving three penalty kicks to help the Western New York Flash win the title.
NC Courage
The Western New York Flash was sold to Cary, North Carolina, and renamed the North Carolina Courage on January 9, 2017. North Carolina’s starting goalkeeper, D’Angelo, started seven of their first eight games in 2017. After that, Katelyn Rowland became North Carolina’s starting goalkeeper, limiting her playing time.
D’Angelo played seven regular season games in 2018, again behind Rowland on North Carolina’s depth chart. July 2018 saw the inaugural Women’s International Champions Cup for the Courage. North Carolina defeated Olympique Lyonnais 1–0 in the Final Game with D’Angelo in goal.
D’Angelo began North Carolina’s 2018 playoff semi-final against the Chicago Red Stars as Rowland recovered from a concussion. She shut out the Courage, who advanced to their second straight championship game.

D’Angelo joined the Canada Women’s U-17 team in June 2007 for a nine-day training camp in Ottawa at 14. D’Angelo was named to the 2008 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship roster in Trinidad and Tobago in July, however, she did not play. Canada qualified for the inaugural FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in October after finishing third. D’Angelo was again nominated to the U-17 World Cup roster but didn’t play.
D’Angelo made her U-17 debut in March 2010 at the CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship in Costa Rica. She started all five of Canada’s tournament matches, posting two shutouts and helping them win their first championship and qualify for the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago. D’Angelo started all three of Canada’s U-17 Women’s World Cup matches in September 2010, shutting out Ghana.
In October 2010, D’Angelo was invited to train with the Canadian national team after a strong U-17 Women’s World Cup. After the training camp, she was named to the team for the December 2010 Torneio International Cidade de São Paulo but did not play.
In March 2012, D’Angelo joined the U-20 team for the CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship. D’Angelo started Canada’s five tournament matches. Canada earned silver and qualified for the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Japan.
D’Angelo started all three of Canada’s World Cup matches in August, although Canada finished 11th. D’Angelo won the 2012 Canadian U-20 Player of the Year after the competition. D’Angelo was selected for the first EXCELeration camp in Florida in February 2013.

In December 2015, D’Angelo joined the complete Canada Women’s National Team for training. In February, she was selected for the 2016 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualification Tournament, however, she didn’t play. On March 4, 2016, D’Angelo made her national team debut against Belgium in the Algarve Cup.
She kept a match clean sheet. On March 9, she replaced Stephanie Labbé at the 46th minute. D’Angelo was selected for the 2016 Rio Olympics after Erin McLeod’s serious injury in March. D’Angelo played one game for Canada at the 2016 Olympics as Stephanie Labbé’s backup. Canada won bronze.
Canada played D’Angelo twice in 2017. Since 2016, she has earned fewer call-ups as former starting goalie Erin McLeod has recovered from injury and is Labbé’s backup. D’Angelo joined the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup roster on May 25.
