International career
In the 2009-10 season, he took charge of Peñarol’s goal in place of Argentina‘s Pablo Cavallero, winning the 2010 Uruguayan Championship, where he played in every match, even winning the best player award in the second match of the season. final against Nacional, with Peñarol winning 1-0.
