Early Life
Moore started his career at Brading Town before joining Portsmouth. In September 2011, at 17, he joined Reading on a three-year scholarship with a one-year professional contract.
Moore joined Hungerford Town on loan later that month. He made several saves in Hungerford’s 3–1 FA Cup second-qualifying-round loss to Weymouth. Moore played 33 games for Bashley in the Southern League Premier Division the following season.

Stuart Moore Club Career
Reading
Born in Isle of Wight’s Sandown, Moore started his career as a young player for Brading Town. Later, he moved to Portsmouth. Then, in September 2011, when he was 17, he joined Reading on a three-year scholarship that ended with a one-year professional contract. At the end of the month, Moore went on loan to Hungerford Town, a club in the Southern League Division One South & West.
He made his debut in a replay against Weymouth in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup. He stopped a few shots, but Hungerford lost 3–1. Moore was loaned to Southern League Premier Division club Bashley for the next season. He played 33 times for Bashley during the loan.
Moore went on loan to Conference North club Gloucester City on February 17, 2014. The next day, he played his first game, a 3–1 home loss to Barrow. Moore went back to Reading after his loan ended on March 14. He had played four times during his loan.
Then, on March 27, he was loaned to Conference South club Bath City until the end of the 2013–14 season. Moore made his league debut on April 5, when his team beat Eastbourne Borough 2-1 at home.
He was sent off in the 63rd minute of a 3–1 loss to Gosport Borough on the road on April 19 for raising his arm at a Gosport player. This meant he couldn’t play in Bath’s last two games of the season.
Moore played four times during the loan period. Before the 2014–15 season, he signed a new one-year deal with Reading. On August 7, 2014, Moore went on loan to the Conference South team Basingstoke Town.
He played his first game on August 23, and Hayes & Yeading United beat them 2-0 at home. Moore made 48 appearances during his loan, including both legs of the play-off semi-final loss to Whitehawk, which was 2–1 on aggregate.
The fans of Basingstoke picked him as the club’s Player of the Year. Moore joined League One club Peterborough United on a 28-day emergency loan on February 27, 2016.
He made his debut later that day in a 2–1 loss at home to Swindon Town. He played four times during the loan. Moore joined League Two club Luton Town on loan on January 31, 2017, and will stay there until the end of the 2016–17 season.
Later that day, he played in his first game for Luton, which lost to Cheltenham Town 3–2 at home. Moore played in both legs of the play-off semi-final loss to Blackpool, which the team lost 6–5 on aggregate. He made 10 appearances during his loan period. At the end of 2016–17, he left Reading.
Barrow
Moore signed a one-year deal with the National League team Barrow on July 1, 2017. He left the club on January 22, 2018, after making 18 appearances. Both he and the club agreed to this.
Town of Swindon
Moore signed a contract with League Two team Swindon Town on January 27, 2018, that runs through the end of the 2017–18 season. At the end of the 2017–18 season, Swindon offered him a new contract.
Dons Milton Keynes
Moore joined Milton Keynes Dons on August 2, 2018, after they had just been sent down to League Two. Moore became the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for a short time because he played well.
He played in six league games during the club’s successful 2018–19 season when they won promotion. After not getting many chances the next season, Moore was one of nine players that Milton Keynes Dons let go.
Wealdstone
