Andrej Kramarić born 19 June 1991 is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for Bundesliga club 1899 Hoffenheim and the Croatia national team.
Kramarić began his football career at his hometown club Dinamo Zagreb and holds the record for the top youth goalscorer in the club’s history. Andrej Kramarić Club Career
Dinamo Zagreb
Kramarić joined Dinamo Zagreb when he was just six years old. [During his youth career, he scored over 450 goals for Dinamo’s youth teams, making him the top youth goalscorer in the club’s history.
Kramarić made his debut for Dinamo’s senior team on May 24, 2009, in a league match against Zagreb. He made an appearance as a substitute in the 69th minute for Josip Tadić. It was also his only game for Dinamo’s first team during the 2008-09 season.
Kramarić was promoted to the first-team squad the following season. He made his first appearance of the season and also made his UEFA Champions League debut on 15 July in an away match against Pyunik, which ended in a goalless draw.
Lokomotiva Zagreb

Leicester City
On 8 January 2015, Premier League club Leicester City announced that they had reached an agreement to sign Kramarić on a three-and-a-half-year contract, confirming an earlier announcement from Rijeka. However, the transfer was contingent on Kramarić obtaining a work permit on appeal, as he did not meet the requirements to be granted one automatically.
Four days after Leicester’s announcement, an FA panel recommended approval of the work permit, paving the way for Leicester to apply to the UK Border Agency.
On 16 January, Leicester announced that Kramarić had officially joined the club after receiving a UK work permit and that he would wear number 40. The transfer fee for him was £9 million, a club record for Leicester.
He made his debut the day after signing, replacing striker Jamie Vardy for the final 25 minutes of a 0–1 home loss against Stoke City. On 10 February, Kramarić scored his first goal for the club in a 2–1 away loss against Arsenal.
Kramarić failed to establish a place in the starting XI for the early stages of the 2015–16 season. He played just two league games when Leicester became Premier League champions, making him ineligible for a winner’s medal (a minimum of five league games is required).
