About Belize National Football Team
The Belize national soccer team represents Belize in international soccer and is controlled by the Belize Soccer Federation, a member of CONCACAF’s Central American Soccer Union.
Although Belize has never qualified for a FIFA World Cup tournament, they once qualified for a CONCACAF Gold Cup championship in 2013, in which they were eliminated in the group stage. Belize has also competed in the Copa Centroamericana sub-regional championship in which their best result was fourth place in 2013. The nickname of the national team players is “Jaguares”.
