At 16, Ford signed with the Sailors of the central coast before the 2009 W-League season but did not play in a match for the club.

Sydney FC, 2010–14

With the announcement that the sailors of the Central Coast would not present to a women’s team in the 2010-11 season of the W-League, FORD, along with the companions of the sailors Teresa Polias, Lydia Vandenbergh and Renee Rollason, all changed to A close club, Sydney FC.
