Chelsea is not interested in Layvin Kurzawa, Ivan Perisic

Chelsea is reportedly not considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Layvin Kurzawa or Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic at this stage of the January transfer window.

With Ben Chilwell ruled out until the end of the season, the Blues are considering short-term replacements at left-back with Marcos Alonso currently the only recognized player in that position.

Chelsea has been linked with a wide range of names, including Kurzawa and Perisic, who may be available for transfer for different reasons.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, a move for either player seems unlikely with eight days left in the month.

Romano adds that Chelsea hasn’t found a breakthrough with Lyon either as they tried to get Emerson Palmieri back from his loan spell.

Although the European champions signed Dylan Williams from Derby County at the weekend, the 18-year-old is unlikely to enter immediate contention for a place in the senior team.
