Ohiaeriaku was the first goalie for Osun Babes in the first Nigeria Women’s Premier League. The team came in third place. Because of this, the teenager was asked to play for the national team. She then left to join Rivers Angels, who were the reigning champions. After they won two more league wins, she moved back to Osun Babes in early 2016. She thanked the Rivers Angels team and support staff in a statement and said they were like a family.
Later that year, she moved to Swedish team IFK Ostersund on a one-year contract that could have been extended for another year.
International career
Before the 2014 African Women’s Championship, Ohiaeriaku was on the Nigerian women’s national football team’s provisional list. She was one of three goalkeepers picked for the team that went to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She didn’t start any games; instead, she came in as a sub for the games against the U.S., Australia, and Sweden, which were called the “group of death” because no one else had started.
In the months leading up to the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, she played football in Sweden, hoping it would help her make the team. After that, she was put on the team for the event.
