The Czech Republic national football team represents the Czech Republic in international football. The team is controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR). Historically, the team participated in FIFA and UEFA competitions such as Bohemia and Czechoslovakia.
Following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic’s first international competition was UEFA Euro 1996, where they finished runners-up and have participated in every European Championship since. After the split, they appeared in one FIFA World Cup, in 2006 tournament.
