The club has used a number of stadiums in Kolkata, Howrah, and Barasat, including Eden Gardens which has been reserved for cricket since the Salt Lake Stadium opened in 1984. The first ground used by the club was Kumartuli Park in North Kolkata.

The primary and secondary colors of East Bengal are red and yellow respectively. The founders, while searching, found the red and gold jersey hanging in the Whiteaway, Laidlaw & Co. department store in Chowringhee, Kolkata. It attracted them, and they finalized the colors and the shirt. It cost ₹80 in 1920, four times more than the average. These colors were permanently integrated into the club.
