About Slovenia National Football Team
The Slovenia national football team represents Slovenia in men’s international soccer and is controlled by the Slovenian Football Association, the governing body for soccer in Slovenia. The team is under the global jurisdiction of FIFA and is governed in Europe by UEFA. Compete in the three major professional tournaments available to European nations: the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Nations League, and the UEFA European Championship. Slovenia played its first official match in 1992, a year after the country gained independence from Yugoslavia. Most of Slovenia’s home games are played at the Stožice Stadium in Ljubljana.

Slovenia National Football Team Home Stadium
A total of ten stadiums in eight cities have hosted Slovenia’s home games. The Slovenian Football Association lists four of them, Celje, Koper, Ljubljana, and Maribor, as the home stadium of the national team. Since 2010, most matches have been played in Ljubljana at the Stožice Stadium, with a capacity of 16,038 seats. The last training sessions and physical preparation of the team before the domestic matches are held at the Brdo National Football Center in Predoslje.
Slovenia National Football Team Kit
Until 1993, Slovenia played its matches in white, blue, and red, which are the traditional colors of the country. In 1993, the board of the Slovenian Football Association decided to change the main colors to green and white, which were also the main colors of Olimpija in the capital Ljubljana.
In 2009, a new board of the Slovenian Football Association immediately opted for a change of colors. In December 2009, the board voted to change the jersey colors to white for home games and blue for away games. The new colors came into effect in April 2012, when Nike introduced the new home kits.
