France squad For World Cup 2022: Who joins Mbappe, Benzema, and Dembele in Qatar? Here are all updates about France Squad for FIFA World Cup 2022.
The previous World Cup champions now have a much better team than before but the champions have not performed well in previous national matches. Champions aren’t the ones who always win the race – champions are the ones who get up and try again.
There is no doubt that Karim Benzema has been incredible for Real Madrid. In the national friendlies, he plays in the starting XI which means he beats Antoine Griezmann but there is no doubt that Griezmann is the best choice to replace Benzema for whatever reason.
On the other hand, France’s best young talents Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele do their best to be the best in the world. Both have been outstanding for their clubs this season and are in good form, but Olivier Giroud, Antoine Griezmann, and Christopher Nkuko are also in contention for a starting XI. There is no doubt that France has the best-attacking department in the world in my opinion.
According to the performing players, these players have the highest chances to play for France in the World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Attack is undoubtedly the strongest department of France.
Paul Pogba is fighting a race against time to be fit for the World Cup as he is expected to be out of action for between 40 and 60 days following surgery on a meniscus injury.
France’s defensive talent pool is simply unbelievable.
For the left-back position, Theo Hernandez and Ferland Mendy are the front-runners. Both of them play regularly at Milan and Real Madrid respectively and are solid options at the back.
Hugo Lloris seems to be the number one choice of Deschamps to stand between the sticks. He is an undisputed starter at Tottenham Hotspur and, barring injury concerns, there would be no reason why he should not be on the flight to Qatar.

How many players can France take to the 2022 World Cup?
National coaches were allowed to bring 26 players to last summer’s European Championship for the first time in a major tournament, as a special measure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has now been announced that the 26-man squads will return for the Qatar World Cup, an expansion of the usual 23-man squads.
When will the final squad for the 2022 France World Cup be announced?
The 2022 World Cup takes place from November 21 to December 18, 2022.
While the staging of the next World Cup is a break from the traditional football calendar, the World Cup teams are usually announced around six weeks before the start of the tournament.
This may change if club football is played closer to the tournament start date.
Who will make up the final list for the 2022 France World Cup?
Barring injuries or bans, there are a few players we hope are dead for Didier Deschamps’ France 2022 World Cup final squad.
Les Bleus have an embarrassment of riches across the field and there is no shortage of alternatives if Deschamps’ benchmark men suffer a drop in form over the next 12 months. Still, there are a handful of players who are sure to be on the plane to Qatar.
Chief among them is Hugo Lloris, the captain, and a goalkeeper who is closing in on Lilian Thuram’s record of 142 caps for France. Antoine Griezmann, who recently made his 100th appearance for the national team, is another one who will be in the squad no matter what.
Kylian Mbappe, Raphael Varane, and Paul Pogba also have a safe place in the traveling group, provided they are fit.
