About Grenada National Football Team

The Grenada national football team represents Grenada in international football and is controlled by the Grenada Football Association, a member of CONCACAF’s Caribbean Football Union. The team is nicknamed The Spice Boys, a reference to the country being dubbed “Spice Island” or “Spice Island”.

Grenada never qualified for the World Cup but finished second in the Caribbean Cup in 1989 and 2008. Their second-place finish in the 2008 Caribbean Cup gave Grenada their first qualification for a major international competition, which is the Gold Cup. CONCACAF 2009.

Grenada National Football Team Home Stadium

Police Ground is a multi-use stadium in St. George’s, Grenada. Currently, it is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 8,000 people.

Its name was changed to Kirani James Athletic Stadium in April 2017, in honor of Grenada’s first Olympic medalist, Kirani James.
