Jamaica National Football Team Home Stadium
Between 1926 and 1962, Jamaica played its matches at Sabina Park, which is also the home of the West Indies cricket team. In 1962, the soccer team moved to Parque Independencia, which was built for the 1962 Central American and Caribbean Games that were held after the country gained independence; the first game at home was a 6-1 victory over Puerto Rico. The national team has used four clothing manufacturers to supply Jamaica’s official kit. The team’s first supplier was Italian manufacturer Lanzera in 1995 before merging with Kappa a year later. This agreement was terminated after the 1998 World Cup. In 2000, the JFF signed a contract with the German sports brand Uhlsport, which lasted until 2006. After another three-year contract with Kappa between 2012 and 2014, the JFF signed a four-year contract with the Emirati sportswear company Romai Sports for $4.8 million. .
