FC Twente, 2013–2017
Rord began his race in 2008 in the U-13 team of FC Twente and quickly progressed through the youth teams. At 16 he made his debut in the first team. He helped the team to win the Bene League (Belgian and Dutch leagues combined in a single league played between 2012 and 2015) twice, Eredivisie (Dutch League) once, and the KNVB Women’s Cup (Dutch Cup) once. Also with the club, he made his debut at the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2013. On April 1, 2017, he played his 100th match for the club.
Bayern Munich, 2017–2019
Before the 2017-18 season, Round signed a two-year contract with Bayern Munich to play in the best German League, Frauen-Bundesliga. On September 2, 2017, he made his debut for the club in a 3-0 victory over SGS Essen.
On October 15, 2017, he scored his first goal in a 2–0 house against SC Sand. During his first season with the club, Rouord scored six goals in the 17 games he played. Bayern Munich ended second during the regular season with a record of 17–3–2. His six goals tied with two other players like the third goals scorers in the team.
On October 4, 2017, Rouord made his first appearance at the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the club in a 1–0 defeat to Chelsea.
During the 2018-19 season, Round scored 7 goals in 19 appearances for Bayern Munich. Arsenal, 2019–2021
Rouord signed with Arsenal on May 14, 2019. During a friendly match against Tottenham Hotspur, he scored a hat-trick raising Arsenal to a 6-0 victory. Rouord scored two goals in the fourteen games he played during the 2019–20 FA WSL season. Arsenal ended third during the regular season with a record of 12–3–0 and was runner-up for the League Cup after being defeated by Chelsea 2–1 during the final.
During the 2020–21 season of the FA WSL, Rouord scored two consecutive hat-tricks in the team’s opening matches again Reading and West Ham United. VFL Wolfsburg, 2021 – Present
