FC Lorient (2014-2018)

Mattéo Guendouzi made the decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain in 2014, aged fifteen, to join the FC Lorient training center.

Guendouzi made his Ligue 1 first-team debut on October 15, 2016, in a loss to FC Nantes. He played nine games in all competitions, during his first season 2016-2017 which saw FC Lorient relegated to Ligue 2 at the end of the championship.
