Lazio Kit

Lazio’s colors of white and sky blue were inspired by the national emblem of Greece, due to the fact that Lazio is a mixed sports club, this was chosen in recognition of the fact that the Ancient Olympic Games and along with them the traditional sports in Europe are connected with Greece.

Originally, Lazio wore a shirt divided into white and light blue quarters, with black shorts and socks. After a time of wearing a plain white jersey from the start, Lazio reverted to the colors they wear today. In some seasons Lazio have worn a sky blue and white striped shirt, but it is usually sky blue with white trim, with white shorts and socks. The club’s colors have led to its Italian nickname of Biancocelesti.
