Mehdi Taremi born 18 July 1992 is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Primeira Liga club Porto and the Iran national team.
Having started his career with Shahin Bushehr and Iranjavan, Taremi played for Persepolis between 2014 and 2018; he was the top scorer in the Persian Gulf Pro League on two occasions (2015-16 and 2016-17).

Early career
Taremi started his career at the Bargh Bushehr Academy before moving on to the Iranjavan Youth Academy.
Shahin Bushehr
Taremi joined Shahin Bushehr in the summer of 2010. He played 7 games and scored one goal in all competitions.
