Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe rules out January’s move to Real Madrid. Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé has stated that he will not join Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old is about to enter the final six months of his contract with Les Parisiens, which was stalled by a nine-figure offer from Real in the summer.
As a result, Mbappé has been inclined to complete a reduced price or a free transfer to the Bernabéu in 2022, but the forward has claimed that he will stay for the winter.
Speaking to CNN, the former Monaco star said: “No, I will not join Real Madrid in January. In January it will not happen.
“I am at Paris Saint-Germain, I am very happy and I will finish the season 100% as a PSG player. I will give everything to win all the titles with Paris this year.”
PSG’s long-running contract negotiations with Mbappé have yet to lead to a breakthrough, although sporting director Leonardo is still optimistic that the French international will remain in Paris.
Mbappé has amassed 15 goals and 17 assists in 24 appearances in all tournaments this season, and PSG will return to action on Monday against Vannes OC in the Coupe de France.
