Club Career
Braga
The birthplace of Neto was Viana do Castelo, Neto was a Braga youth player in the age group of 13. On the 7th of May 2017 when Neto was still a young player when he made his professional debut for Braga’s reserves and was an extra in the second half of the draw at home, which was a 3-3. The defeat came in the Second League against Porto B in the Second League. The following weekend, during the first Primeira Liga appearance for the first team, he scored only a few minutes on the pitch, helping the hosts beat already degraded Nacional by 4-0, becoming the youngest goal scorer of that club during the tournament.
On August 31st, 2017 both Neto and co-player Bruno Jordao were loaned to Italy’s Lazio for two years with the requirement to purchase each of them for EUR26 million. Neto made his debut with the club in Serie A on 27 January 2019, taking over Bastos in the closing minutes of a home loss 2-1 to Juventus.
International career
