Port Vale Home Stadium

When they joined the English Football League in 1892, Port Vale played in their fourth home. They started at the Meadows on Limekiln Lane, Longport, now Scott Lidgett Road, then moved to Westport Meadows in 1881, where they played for three years. A flood-prone area, today Westport Lake now sits where the ground once stood. In 1884 the club moved to the Burslem Athletics and Football Ground, where they would stay for only two years.
