Real Betis Home Stadium

With a capacity of 60,720 seats, the Estadio Benito Villamarín is the home of Real Betis. It was named Estadio Manuel Ruiz de Lopera during the 2000s in honor of the club’s owner, who decided to build a new stadium on top of the old one.

Despite much planning, the stadium’s renovation plans were constantly postponed, with half remaining unchanged. On October 27, 2010, it returned to its first name after a decision by the club members.

Real Betis Kit

In its early years, Sevilla Balompié wore a blue shirt with white pants, which represented the infantry of the time. Since late 1911, the team had adopted Celtic shirts, at the time green and white vertical stripes, brought from Glasgow by Manuel Asensio Ramos, who had studied in Scotland as a boy. On February 28, 2017, at the 37th Jornada de Andalucía, Real Betis wore Celtic-inspired hoops against Málaga CF.
