From the 1970s to the 1990s, the Somalia national football team used to wear solid sky blue jerseys and socks with white shorts for home kits and reversed for away kits, the two main colors of the national flags of Somalia, in the 2010s until Today, the national team has replaced the solid sky blue jerseys with blue and white vertical striped jerseys.

The crest of the Somali national team used to be the coat of arms of Somalia but is now replaced by the crest of the Somali Federation.
