The Cachamay Stadium is part of the Centro Total de Entretenimiento Cachamay (English: The Total Entertainment Center of Cachamay). It is a multipurpose stadium located on Avenida Guayana in Puerto Ordaz (Part of Ciudad Guayana) BolÃvar State, Venezuela.
The old stadium was inaugurated in 1990 and underwent expansion, modernization, and remodeling during the years 2006-2007, which implied the demolition of some parts and the redesign of its structure to aim to double its capacity before 2006, being one of the 9 stadiums of the 2007 Copa América, when it reopened as Cachamay CTE.
Venezuela National Football Team Kit
Venezuela made its international debut at the Central American and Caribbean Games held in Panama in 1938, wearing the red (burgundy) color. In the 1967 Copa América, Venezuela also wore the Peñarol v Chile jersey to avoid a color clash, as Venezuela had arrived at Estadio Centenario (Peñarol’s frequent venue) without alternate jerseys.
In 1993, a vertical band with the colors of the National Flag was added to the left side of the jersey, which changed its colors to a more traditional shade of red. This lasted until 1996 when Venezuela reverted to red.
