Bethany England Club Career

From 2011 to 2015, Doncaster Rovers Belles

England joined the first team of Doncaster Rovers Belles when she was 17. She did this during the second half of the 2011 FA WSL season. She played for the first team for the first time on July 23, 2011, and played four times during the regular season. Doncaster had a record of 2–9–3, which put them in seventh place. In October 2011, she went to Sheffield Wednesday on a short-term loan.

During the 2012 FA WSL season, England played eight games and scored two goals. She scored her first goal during a 3–2 loss to Bristol City. Her second goal came in a win over Liverpool by a score of 2-0. Doncaster had a record of 3–9–2, which put them in seventh place. England went back to Doncaster nine times during the 2012 FA WSL season. The team ended in last place, so for the 2014 season, they will play in the FA WSL 2, the second division.

During the 2015 FA WSL season, England scored 14 goals, which helped the team finish second with a 14-1–3 record and get promoted to FA WSL 1.[17] Against Oxford United, she scored twice. During her five seasons with Doncaster, England was a regular starter and played for the club close to 100 times. Even though the Belles offered England a full-time job, she chose to join Chelsea the following season.

The season 2016–17

In January 2016, it was announced that England would be playing for the FA WSL 1 winners, Chelsea, 2016. She played as a wing-back and scored five goals in 19 games, seven of which she started. During the regular season, Chelsea had a record of 12-3-1, which put them in second place.

England signed a new two-year deal with Chelsea in April 2017. A few months later, she spent a season on loan at Liverpool, where she scored 10 goals in 16 games and got better at hitting goals.

England went to Liverpool on loan on September 14, 2017, for the 2017–18 FA WSL season. On October 12, 2017, she got her first goal for the Reds in a 6–0 Continental Cup win over Sheffield F.C. In August, she helped Chelsea beat Manchester City 2-0 to win the 2020 Women’s FA Community Shield.
