Kosovo’s previous national stadium was the Adem Jashari Olympic Stadium, which is currently undergoing renovations. Kosovo also used the Loro Boriçi Stadium during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, and this happened after the two stadiums in Pristina and Mitrovica at the time were under renovation and did not meet UEFA standards.
