Kuala Lumpur Stadium or KLFA Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently it is mainly used for football matches and is the home stadium for the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur Stadium History

In the past, the stadium was used as the venue for many Malaysian teams including Felda United, PDRM, PLUS, Selangor and UKM FC. Because the City Council didn’t want to fix up the turf, the stadium closed in July 2011. As of 2012 the stadium has also been used for rugby matches.

Numerous Malaysian teams have called the stadium their home field in the past, including Felda United, PDRM, PLUS, Selangor, and UKM FC. Since City Hall refused to restore the pitch, the stadium has been closed since July 2011. The stadium has hosted rugby matches since 2012 as well. It was utilized for the inaugural Media Prima 6 Regions 2013 game between Singapore Cricket Club and Kelab Rakan Muda Malaysia. The stadium underwent restoration between 2013 and 2018, and it now has a seating capacity of 18,000 people.
