About Malawi National Football Team
The Malawi national football team, nicknamed The Flames, represents Malawi in international football and is controlled by the Malawi Football Association. Before 1966, they were known as the Nyasaland national football team.
They have qualified for three African Nations Cups, in 1984, 2010 and 2021. They have also won the CECAFA Cup in 1978, 1979 and 1988.

Kamuzu Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Blantyre, Malawi. Currently, it is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of about 100,000 people. This can be limited for security reasons. Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers are tenants.
