Bayern Munich

Neuer moved to Bayern Munich on June 1, 2011, and signed a five-year deal with the team on the same day. Some Bayern fans were angry that Bayern bought a goalkeeper from Schalke, so they were hostile toward Neuer. On July 2, 2011, Bayern and a group of supporters’ representatives met at a round table to talk about the situation.

It was decided, among other things, that Neuer would be treated as a full member of Bayern Munich and given the respect he deserves. Also, people should stop being mean to him.
