A native of Arlington, Massachusetts, Robinson began his career with the FC Boston Bolts before playing college soccer for the Syracuse Orange. After two seasons with Syracuse, Robinson was drafted with the second overall pick in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by expansion club Atlanta United.

Club Career

Boston FC

Miles Robinson joined FC Boston, the semi-professional affiliate of his youth team FC Boston Bolts, in the Premier Development League after the 2015 college season. On May 21, 2016, he made his collegiate debut against F.A. Euro, starting the 3-1 away win.

Robinson participated in six games while with FC Boston, and the United Soccer League voted him the best defender among college prospects after the season.

United by Atlanta

In order to be selected in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Miles Robinson made the decision to leave Syracuse early and signed a Generation Adidas deal with Major League Soccer on January 4, 2017. Atlanta United, an expansion team, selected Robinson with the second overall pick in the draught on January 13, just after Abu Danladi.

On May 23, 2017, Miles Robinson joined Charleston Battery in the United Soccer League on a temporary loan after playing just on the bench for Atlanta United.
