Hasegawa was born on January 29, 1997, in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Then, when she was a child, she and her family moved to Todo, Saitama. She went to Meguro Nihon University Junior High and High School for both junior high school and high school. In 2019, she got her degree from Nihon University.

Verdy Beleza

In 2013, Tokyo Verdy Beleza elevated Hasegawa from the youth team to the senior team. On 23 March 2013, she debuted Nadeshiko League against FC Kibi IU Charme at sixteen. Despite her youth and inexperience in the first squad, she became a frequent starter in midfield.

Her senior football breakthrough came in 2015. She scored her maiden Nadeshiko League goal against Iga FC Kunoichi on 23 September 2015 and helped the squad win the championship after a five-year hiatus. Hasegawa played during the club’s most successful spell. She won five league crowns, five Empress’s Cups, three League Cups, and the inaugural AFC Women’s Club Championship in eight seasons with Beleza. In 2018 and 2019, Beleza won the domestic triple crown.

Hasegawa made his Nadeshiko League Best XI debut in 2017. She achieved that feat in 2018, 2019, and 2020 before leaving Japan to play abroad in 2021.

On 3 May 2018, in a scoreless draw against Nojima Stella Kanagawa, she surpassed 100 league appearances for Beleza at 21. She scored 40 goals in 217 appearances for the club.

AC Milan
