Cabo Verde National Football Team Home Stadium
The team played its matches at the Estádio da Várzea. It is located in the capital city, Praia, on Santiago Island. The stadium opened in 2006 and has a capacity of 10,000 people.
In 2014 the new Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde stadium was inaugurated, with the capacity to hold a capacity of 15,000 people. On October 15, 2014, the team qualified for their second Africa Cup of Nations at the new stadium, with a 1-0 win over Mozambique, making them the first of all CAF teams to qualify for the tournament.
