Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium, formerly known as Sampangi Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Bangalore, India. It houses a running track, a volleyball court and two outdoor climbing walls. The stadium is owned by the Karnataka Government Sports and Youth Empowerment Department. It is the largest sports complex in Bangalore.
Renamed after Yuvaraja Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar, the stadium, built on the bed of Lake Sampangi, was inaugurated in 1946 by Maharaja Jayachamaraja Wadiyar. Then housing a concrete track, a synthetic running track was laid in the 1990s ahead of the 1997 Indian National Games for ₹220 million and completed on 31 May 1997.

Sree Kanteerava Stadium History
In 1966, Kanteerava Studio was launched as a limited company on 20 acres (81,000 m2) of land. The study started with the Government of Karnataka with 93 percent of the share capital and the remaining 7 percent held by private shareholders.

Parking
Parking is available during the normal day. However, during competitions/matches/events it will be difficult. For example Indian Super League football matches are held here, so you won’t have parking on match days.
