Rogers Town
When the 2011–12 season began, Norris was without a team. He made an approach to Royston Town of Hertfordshire, who had nearly missed promotion the year before after coming third in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
He participated in a number of contests for the reserve squad before Paul Attfield, the first team manager at the time, noticed his abilities and called him up to the starting lineup. He made his Royston debut on September 20, 2011, in a 4-1 victory over Haringey Borough at home in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Cup.
Harvard University
Norris signed a two-year contract with Cambridge United on July 16, 2012, but he was then loaned back to Royston Town for the remainder of the 2012–13 campaign, assisting the team in finishing seventh in the Southern Football League Division One Central.
Wanderers of Wolverhampton
